It's been so fun to introduce Peyton to some of the holiday traditions that we started with my nieces over the past couple of years. Christmas is going to be a lot of fun this year!
US Bank Wild Lights at the Zoo
We started this tradition with Millie a few years ago and we've continued to go every year (except last year since Peyton was too tiny) with my sister's family. This year Peyton and Teddy got to join the fun. Peyton loved it! She oohhed and ahhhed at all of the lights and loved the high school choir that was singing while we had hot chocolate. It was unseasonably warm this year but still a great time!
Winter Wonderland at Tilles Park
We've driven through Tilles park to see the lights the past couple of years, but this year we decided to do a carriage ride and it was so much fun! Nothing says Christmas like riding in a horse drawn carriage bundled up under blankets and looking at Christmas lights. All of the kids really loved it! Peyton was again mesmerized by the lights and said "ooohhh" the whole time! Afterwards we went to Starbucks for hot chocolate. A pretty perfect evening!
