Nora: 16 Months

My baby girl is getting big!  At 16 months Nora:

  • Is walking and running and (attempting) jumping.
  • Keeps up with her siblings.  She will not be left out and thinks she is much bigger than she is!
  • Loves to play chase and rough house
  • Loves to play with baby dolls (especially Peyton's Bitty Baby)
  • Is generally happy and laid back.  The comment I get most from strangers is how happy and content she is.
  • Does have a fiery side though.  If she is tired and/or hungry she is downright feisty and has thrown her fair share of tantrums.  Jason and I refer to her as a sour patch kid.  Sweet one minute sour the next!
  • Is talking more.  Some words we hear: Mama, Dada, bowl, bar, night night, bye, water (wa-wa), shoes, Lainie, Granpa, backpack, hot, I don't know (complete with shoulder shrug), done and all gone
  • Has a sweet tooth
  • Likes to help me unload the dishwasher
  • Likes to be silly and to get a laugh
  • Can point out several body parts
  • Adores her siblings
  • Also adores messing with her siblings.  She will take a toy from Charlie and run away laughing and has been known to pull hair.
  • Is so much fun and adds so much to our family. She is our baby and we all adore her and shower her with love and hugs and kisses constantly.

Love that crazy hair and crooked grin!

Of course I'm big enough to ride this bike

Ice cream!
