Let the Madness begin!

Lauren and I had a good weekend. We spent Friday night with my buddy Pat and, as usual, he had us laughing all night. His friends Tony and Andy came along for the night and provided a bit of laughter as well. Saturday we simultaneously celebrated St. Patrick's Day and Lisa's Birthday at Schlafly Bottleworks. Brandon stopped by and contributed to some phone conversations with Pat that were something to behold. I won't repeat any of the subject matter. All I will say is that Pat was celebrating St. Pattie's all day and the fact that he was celebrating was never in question.

Sunday provided a couple hours of kickball which is always a good time...even if it is so cold that you can't feel your fingers. Perhaps the best part of the weekend was the basketball that littered the airwaves. March is great because that is when Lauren starts to get into college basketball. The selection show on Sunday began a week filled with brackets and the confidence (delusion) that we have made the right picks. We will both be turning in brackets at my office so hopefully one of us will win. It truly is one of the best times of year...
