4 years and counting

This past Thursday, Lauren and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary...of the dating variety. It will be the last of its kind for us. We went to a tapas restaurant called Barcelona (side note: after a previous visit to this restaurant we were describing it to my parents. The look on my mom's face during the conversation was one of shock and amazement. It turns out that she thought we were saying that we had eaten at a topless restaurant as opposed to a tapas restaraunt...apparently I didn't annunciate while describing our evening.) The food was really good and we had a great time reminiscing. The years have gone by quick and this next one will probably go by even faster as we prepare for the wedding.

Over the weekend we enjoyed plenty of family time. We baked Christmas cookies ate dinner with my parents on Saturday. We made chocolate chip, peanut butter and monster cookies (not to be confused with cookie monster which is what Lauren calls me around this time of year...I find it difficult to refute her claims)

And on Sunday we helped Lauren's parents decorate their Christmas tree. This weekend was a definite sign that Christmas is fast approaching...
No complaints from this guy (or Lauren for that matter)
